A fresh new year feels like a super clean dry erase board that’s eager to get written on with dry erase markers. 🙂 At least that’s how I’ve always seen it!
2020 was a bit of a doozy…But genuinely there were a lot of wonderful moments too. My husband, Cameron, and I were able to make a lot of memories together this year at home and while traveling around the New England area. We laughed a lot..dreamed a lot…and walked our dogs a whole lot.

When I think about a fresh start to the year – normally I’m 100% ready with my planner in hand! But this year I’ve felt a little calmer about it. I’m taking it slowly. I have some amazing weddings booked for this year and I can’t wait to see my clients unite in marriage. But my first quarter is calm..and If I’m honest – I’m okay with it. 🙂 I finally have a little time to catch up on my home! The things I’ve been putting on the back burner…like reading the pile of books and magazines on my coffee table.
So what’s on my New Years goals list….
My number one goal is to continue to travel with Cameron as safely as we possibly can. Cameron and I have had a motto since we started dating that we will work hard so that we can travel hard. We both live for that adventure we feel when we are exploring. It’s our happy place!

My other goal this year is to go slower. I have a tendency to say “yes”…A LOT. 2020 taught me that it’s okay to not always be doing something. That movie and dinner nights at home with Cam are something that I crave. That walking my dogs are one of my favorite parts of my day. I want to give myself enough time to create and make things…and have more sitting outside on the back porch(in the summer of course lol) with my journal and coffee moments.
There’s so many other things I hope for and will be working towards throughout this year, but these two stood out the most to me this time around.

A fresh year also calls for a really fresh crisp white top that fits just right. I’ve been loving this non-iron blouse by my friends over at Foxcroft! It’s well made and thick enough to not be too see-through but also feels lightweight and comfortable. I specifically liked this top for the cute tortoise color buttons!
Another favorite is the Shoshana 2-Fer Tartan Sweater! It’s a classic sweater that won’t go out of style and pairs really well with jeans (my go-to pant)! It’s also majorly on sale right now!

If you haven’t checked out this brand yet, be sure to do so! I also have a 20% code for you as an extra discount while shopping! Use code MINDYFOXFRESH to save!

Happy first week of January friends…we’ve got this!
